Visited Cali for 12 days. Great experience. Scene is quieter but worthwhile. Pricing up slightly.

Spent $138/day. Best part: variety.

Overall: 9/10. Solid destination.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

I was there in February and prices were slightly higher.

Spent about $77/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.
