Planning first trip to Trinidad & Tobago. Need advice on:
1. Best area to stay
2. Daily budget
3. Safety concerns
4. Online vs in person?
5. Duration - thinking 12 days

Tips appreciated.

Did you feel safe walking around at night?

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 7/10 destination.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try using a different site next time.

I was there in January and prices were great value.

Spent about $100/day all-in. Quality was good.

My tip: avoid weekends.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Can confirm. Was there 2 weeks ago and everything checks out.

How does it compare to the Philippines?

Did you use dating apps or find girls at bars?

Adding my experience from February.

The scene has changed a bit since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more competition.

Quick question — how was the hotel security?

Not sure I agree about that area. I found a different part to be better value.
