Returned from Chiang Mai last week. 3 days trip, visited early March 2026.

Spent most of my time in the Night Bazaar area area. Prices were 1500-3000 THB. The scene has changed a bit compared to my last visit.

Accommodation: Found a good hotel for $60/night within walking distance of the action. Clean, AC, wifi — all you need.

The girls were hit or miss. Plenty of options.

Food was surprisingly good. Found some great local spots.

Overall: Good trip, might try somewhere new next time.

Happy to answer any questions.

What was your total spend for the trip, roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Been going there for years and this is accurate. The scene has stayed consistent recently.

Solid advice. I'd rate my experience similarly.

With respect, I think this is a bit optimistic. My experience was more mixed.

Can confirm. Was there 2 weeks ago and everything you said checks out.

Good info. I'd add that the afternoon is the best time to go.
