Solid advice. I'd rate my experience similarly.

With respect, I think this is a bit optimistic. My experience was more mixed.

Did you feel safe carrying cash?

I was there in January and can add some detail:

Prices: Slightly higher than reported. I spent about $150/day on the hobby side.

Girls: Mostly locals. Quality was above average.

My favorite spot was an agency I found online.

One tip: Weekdays are quieter and better.

Thanks for sharing. Did you use a dating app or find girls at bars?

How's the nightlife there compared to Germany?

I was there in early March and can add some detail:

Prices: Slightly higher than reported. I spent about $150/day on the hobby side.

Girls: Mostly locals. Quality was excellent.

My favorite spot was the freelancer area near the hotels.

One tip: Avoid weekends if you want better prices.

Any restaurants or bars you'd recommend for hanging out during the day?

Adding to this thread with my own experience from 3 weeks ago:

The scene has definitely improved since my last visit in pre-COVID.

Biggest change: Better quality overall.

Still a great destination. Solid 7/10.

Good info. I'd add that the morning is the best time to go.

Agreed on all points. One thing I'd add — make sure to bring small bills.

Interesting report but I think you may have overpaid. Next time try going during the week.
