Visited Dominican Republic for 10 days. Enjoyable experience. Scene is active. Pricing up slightly.

Spent $118/day. Best part: ease of arranging.

Overall: 9/10. One of my favourites.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

Adding my experience from 3 weeks ago.

The scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 20%.

I'd also recommend downloading WhatsApp before you go. Essential.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.

I was there in January and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $125/day all-in. Quality was good.

My tip: go early evening for best selection.

Quick question — how was the wifi?

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 8/10 destination.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try using a different site next time.
