Planning my first trip to Berlin. Read through the older threads but wanted to check if info is still current.

My main questions:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
2. Realistic daily budget including accommodation?
3. Any areas to avoid?
4. How is the quality compared to Germany?
5. How is the language barrier?

Coming from the UK with experience in Southeast Asia but first time in Berlin.

Any recent reports or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Been going for years. Scene has shifted a bit but still good.

Did you use freelancers or find girls at online?

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The friendly atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.

Also recommend downloading Grab before you go. Essential.

Different experience for me. Prices were lower when I went.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in last month and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $50/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.
