Has anyone been to Cartagena recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Best hotels near the scene

I was there in 2024 and had a decent time. Wondering if things have changed.

Keen to hear from anyone who has been recently.

Cheers

I was there in last month and prices were great value. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality.
