Has anyone been to Peru recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Transport tips

I was there a while back and had a great time. Wondering if things have changed.

Keen to hear from anyone who has been recently.

Cheers

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

First time was a learning experience. Second time was much better. Experience makes all the difference.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The value for money is what keeps me coming back.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.
