Has anyone been to Honduras recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Transport tips

I was there last year and had a great time. Wondering if things have changed.

Planning to go back next month.

Cheers

I was there in last month and prices were about average. Spent about $100/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

Also recommend downloading Maps.me before you go. Essential.

Adding my experience: scene has evolved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Word of caution — watch out for taxi scams at the airport. Other than that, great destination.

First time was good but could have been better. Second time was much better. Experience makes all the difference.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.
