Has anyone been to Dominican Republic recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Apps or platforms to use

I was there 6 months ago and had a good time. Wondering if things have changed.

Any recent trip reports would be helpful.

Cheers

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Did you use freelancers or find girls at bars?

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The friendly atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $120/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $50/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.
