Returned from 6 days in Photo Gallery. Great trip overall.

Accommodation:
Guesthouse near the main area. $41/night. Clean and central.

Scene:
Quieter than I hoped but still good. Prices were in line with forum reports.

Quality:
Better selection than last time. Had 8 encounters total.

Logistics:
Public transport is good enough. Eating out was very affordable.

Safety:
No issues at all.

Overall: 8.5/10. Solid choice, will be back.

Happy to answer any questions.

Adding my experience: scene has evolved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

I was there in February and prices were great value. Spent about $120/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Quick question — how was the ATM situation?

I was there in last month and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $50/day all-in.

My tip: midweek is much better.

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Also recommend downloading Maps.me before you go. Essential.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

First time was overwhelming but exciting. Second time was much better. Experience makes all the difference.

Different experience for me. Prices were about the same when I went.
