Hotel recommendations for East Coast:

Budget ($40-44/night):
Hostels with private rooms work well. Look for places with guest-friendly policies.

Mid-Range ($64-118/night):
Local boutique hotels with good ratings. These usually have no issues with visitors.

Premium ($102+/night):
International brands like Marriott or Hilton.

Guest-Friendly Policy:
Most hotels here are guest-friendly.

Location tip: Stay near the tourist area.

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Been going for years. Scene has shifted a bit but still good.

I was there in last month and prices were about average. Spent about $120/day all-in.

My tip: avoid weekends.

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Word of caution — watch out for taxi scams at the airport. Other than that, great destination.

Adding my experience: scene has evolved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.
