Just got back from Puerto Vallarta/Guadalajara — trip report March 2026

Arrival and first impressions: Easy to get around. Checked into my hotel near PV Malecon area.
Day 1-2: Explored the area, got the lay of the land. Prices seemed fair.
Days 3-5: Hit my stride. The PV Malecon area area was exactly as described on the forum.
Prices: 1500-3000 MXN. Prices are pretty fixed here.
Tips for others: Bring cash.
Would I go back? Yes, but maybe try a different area next time.

Biggest change: Some of the old spots have closed.

The scene has definitely improved since my last visit in 2023.
Biggest change: Better quality overall.

Prices: Exactly as described. I spent about $150/day on the hobby side.
Girls: Mix of local and working girls from other regions. Quality was above average.
My favorite spot was a place recommended by another member here.
One tip: Weekdays are quieter and better.
