Been thinking about visiting Philippines and wanted to get the latest intel from those who've been recently.

Specifically interested in:
1. Current price ranges
2. Best areas to base yourself
3. Any safety concerns
4. How's the quality compared to the Philippines?

Any recent trip reports would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher.

Spent about $62/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: go early evening for best selection.

Adding my experience from 3 weeks ago.

The scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality overall.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found downtown to be better value.
