Back from Thailand. Spent 7 days, here's the breakdown:
Accommodation: Mid-range hotel near the action. $43/night.
Scene: Not as busy as I hoped but still good.
Prices: Slightly higher than expected.
Highlights: Found a hidden gem bar away from tourists.
Overall: 7/10 — good but not my favorite.
Ask me anything.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try negotiating next time.
