Is Frankfurt worth visiting?

Planning my first trip to Frankfurt in the next few months. I've read through a lot of the older threads but wanted to check if the info is still current.

My main questions:
- Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
- Realistic daily budget?
- Any areas to avoid?
- How welcoming are the locals to foreign visitors?

I'm coming from the US and have experience in Latin America but this would be my first time in Frankfurt.

Thanks for any help!

I was there in March and prices were great value.

Spent about $61/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: midweek is golden hour.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

I was there in January and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $88/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

Agreed on all points. Make sure to book hotels in advance.

Been going for years. The scene has improved recently.

Quick question — how was the Uber availability?

Did you use the local sites or find girls at online?

I was there in January and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $51/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: avoid weekends.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.
