Planning my first trip to Turkey and could use some advice from those who have been recently.

I have been reading the older threads and the country guide but wanted to check if info is still current.

Specifically interested in:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene
2. Realistic daily budget (looking for mid-range quality)
3. Safety concerns and areas to avoid
4. Best approach — online platforms or in person?
5. How long to stay — thinking 5 days

Any recent trip reports or tips appreciated. Thanks.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 7/10 destination.

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since the new laws came in. Current prices are higher than what's described here.

Quick question — how was the ATM situation?

Did you use the local sites or find girls at online?

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.
