Visited United Kingdom for 10 days. Solid experience. Scene is quieter but worthwhile. Pricing excellent value.

Spent $114/day. Best part: ease of arranging.

Overall: 8/10. Exceeded expectations.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

Adding my experience from February.

The scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I'd also recommend downloading Maps.me before you go. Essential.

I was there in January and prices were great value.

Spent about $145/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: the late night crowd is different.

I was there in March and prices were great value.

Spent about $143/day all-in. Quality was good.

My tip: midweek is golden hour.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.
