Visited Mexico for 7 days. Enjoyable experience. Scene is active. Pricing up slightly.

Spent $150/day. Best part: friendliness.

Overall: 8/10. Would return.

AMA.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience when I was there last month.

What was your total spend for the trip, roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Agreed on all points. One thing I'd add — make sure to book your hotel in advance.

Spot on with the prices. That's exactly what I paid when I visited in February.

Hmm, I had a different experience. When I went, prices were about the same but quality was different.

Adding to this thread with my own experience from 3 weeks ago:

The scene has definitely improved since my last visit in 2024.

Biggest change: More competition means better service.

Still a great destination. One of my top 3 worldwide.
