Quality in Uruguay — trending up or down?

Visited Uruguay for 12 days. Enjoyable experience. Scene is quieter but worthwhile. Pricing up slightly.

Spent $140/day. Best part: GFE quality.

Overall: 7.5/10. One of my favourites.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since the pandemic. Current prices are about the same than what's described here.
