Has anyone been to New Zealand recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Apps or platforms to use

I was there 6 months ago and had a great time. Wondering if things have changed.

Planning to go back next month.

Cheers

First time was good but could have been better. Second time was much better. Experience makes all the difference.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.

I was there in last month and prices were slightly higher. Spent about $120/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

I was there in March and prices were about average. Spent about $50/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

Also recommend downloading Grab before you go. Essential.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

Been going for years. Scene has gotten busier.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.
