Back home after 10 days in Japan. Let me share what I found.

Arrival and first impressions: Had a driver arranged in advance. Checked into my hotel near Osaka Tobita.

Day 1-2: Explored the area, got the lay of the land. Found the local spots quickly.

Days 3-5: Found my favorite spots. The Osaka Tobita area was busy but manageable.

Prices: In line with expectations. Some room for negotiation.

Tips for others: Book your hotel close to the action.

Would I go back? Definitely, this is now in my regular rotation.

Not sure I agree about the area recommendation. I found downtown to be better.

Did you feel safe in the red light areas?

Spot on with the prices. That's exactly what I paid when I visited in February.

What was your total spend for the trip, roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Great report! Quick question — how was the wifi at your hotel?

Hmm, I had a different experience. When I went, prices were higher.
