Visited Jamaica for 12 days. Enjoyable experience. Scene is active. Pricing excellent value.

Spent $127/day. Best part: ease of arranging.

Overall: 7.5/10. Would return.

I was there in February and prices were slightly higher.

Spent about $141/day all-in. Quality was excellent.

My tip: midweek is golden hour.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.

I'd also recommend downloading Maps.me before you go. Essential.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Quick question — how was the hotel security?

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were lower when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since last year. Current prices are about the same than what's described here.
