Planning my first trip to Netherlands. Read through the older threads but wanted to check if info is still current.

My main questions:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
2. Realistic daily budget including accommodation?
3. Any areas to avoid?
4. How is the quality compared to Germany?
5. Best time of day to go out?

Coming from Canada with experience in Latin America but first time in Netherlands.

Any recent reports or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Did you use an agency or find girls at clubs?

Been going for years. Scene has shifted a bit but still good.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The value for money is what keeps me coming back.

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.
