Has anyone been to Ecuador recently? Looking for the latest intel.
Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Apps or platforms to use
I was there 6 months ago and had a great time. Wondering if things have changed.
Planning to go back next month.
Cheers

I was there in last month and prices were great value. Spent about $50/day all-in.
My tip: avoid weekends.

Word of caution — some online profiles are fake. Other than that, great destination.

Adding my experience: scene has bounced back since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Agreed on all points. Make sure to get a local SIM.
