Has anyone been to General Information recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- New venues worth checking out

I was there in 2024 and had a good time. Wondering if things have changed.

Keen to hear from anyone who has been recently.

Cheers

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Word of caution — some online profiles are fake. Other than that, great destination.

I was there in February and prices were about average. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

First time was overwhelming but exciting. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The friendly atmosphere is what keeps me coming back.

Word of caution — be careful with street touts. Other than that, great destination.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.
