Planning my first trip to Belize. Read through the older threads but wanted to check if info is still current.

My main questions:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
2. Realistic daily budget including accommodation?
3. Any areas to avoid?
4. How is the quality compared to Thailand?
5. Best time of day to go out?

Coming from Canada with experience in Europe but first time in Belize.

Any recent reports or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Different experience for me. Prices were higher when I went.

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

Been there 8 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The value for money is what keeps me coming back.

Did you use freelancers or find girls at clubs?

Adding my experience: scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: prices up 15-20%.
