Hotel recommendations for Honduras:

Budget ($40-47/night):
Basic guesthouses near the main strip. Look for places with walking distance to the action.

Mid-Range ($77-85/night):
International chains like Ibis or Holiday Inn. These usually have pools and fitness centers.

Premium ($123+/night):
5-star hotels with complete discretion.

Guest-Friendly Policy:
Most hotels here are guest-friendly.

Location tip: Stay near the tourist area.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The quality is what keeps me coming back.

Different experience for me. Prices were higher when I went.

Been there 8 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The value for money is what keeps me coming back.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

I was there in March and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

First time was a learning experience. Second time was so much more efficient. Experience makes all the difference.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?
