Visited Border Towns for 5 days. Solid experience. Scene is quieter but worthwhile. Pricing up slightly.

Spent $99/day. Best part: friendliness.

Overall: 9/10. Would return.

AMA.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 8/10 destination.

Adding my experience from February.

The scene has changed a bit since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.
