Planning my first trip to Border Towns. Read through the older threads but wanted to check if info is still current.

My main questions:
1. Best area to stay for easy access to the scene?
2. Realistic daily budget including accommodation?
3. Any areas to avoid?
4. How is the quality compared to Czech Republic?
5. Uber or taxi?

Coming from Canada with experience in Europe but first time in Border Towns.

Any recent reports or recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

I was there in March and prices were about average. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: go early evening.

Did you use an agency or find girls at clubs?

Also recommend downloading WhatsApp before you go. Essential.

Been there 12 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The quality is what keeps me coming back.

Word of caution — do not carry too much cash. Other than that, great destination.

First time was overwhelming but exciting. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: some old spots closed.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.
