Has anyone been to Central Mexico recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- New venues worth checking out

I was there in 2024 and had a great time. Wondering if things have changed.

Planning to go back next month.

Cheers

Also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

Quick question — how was the ATM situation?

Adding my experience: scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: better quality.

Spot on with the prices. Matches what I paid recently.

First time was overwhelming but exciting. Second time was so much more efficient. Experience makes all the difference.

I was there in last month and prices were exactly as described. Spent about $150/day all-in.

My tip: try the local spots away from tourists.

Word of caution — do not carry too much cash. Other than that, great destination.
