Has anyone been to Living in Thailand recently? Looking for the latest intel.

Specifically interested in:
- Current price ranges
- Best areas right now
- Any safety concerns to be aware of
- Transport tips

I was there in 2024 and had a decent time. Wondering if things have changed.

Trying to decide between this and Colombia.

Cheers

I was there in January and prices were about average. Spent about $120/day all-in.

My tip: avoid weekends.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Been there 8 times now. Still one of my top destinations. The consistency is what keeps me coming back.

Also recommend downloading Grab before you go. Essential.

Word of caution — some online profiles are fake. Other than that, great destination.

Good info. Going during the week is much better — less crowded and better prices.

First time was good but could have been better. Second time was 10x smoother. Experience makes all the difference.
