Quick question for the Taiwan regulars — has anything changed in the last few months?
I was there last year and had a great time but I've heard prices have gone up.
Worth going back or should I try somewhere new?
Cheers

Agreed on all points. Make sure to book hotels in advance.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

I was there in February and prices were slightly higher.
Spent about $146/day all-in. Quality was good.
My tip: the late night crowd is different.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found a different part to be better value.
