Quick question for the Thailand regulars — has anything changed in the last few months?
I was there last year and had a great time but I've heard some crackdowns happened.
Worth going back or should I try somewhere new?
Cheers

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.

I was there in January and prices were slightly higher.
Spent about $96/day all-in. Quality was good.
My tip: avoid weekends.

I was there in January and prices were great value.
Spent about $82/day all-in. Quality was excellent.
My tip: the late night crowd is different.

I'd also recommend downloading Google Translate before you go. Essential.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Did you use an agency or find girls at clubs?
