I visited Turkey recently for 7 days and had a really enjoyable experience.
The scene is Better than expected. Some negotiation possible midweek.
Spent about $68/day on the hobby side. Best part was the friendliness.
Overall: 9/10. Would definitely return.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

Adding my experience from 3 weeks ago.
The scene has improved since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 9/10 destination.

Not sure I agree about that area. I found a different part to be better value.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.

How long did it take to feel comfortable and find the good spots?
