I visited Turkey recently for 10 days and had a great experience.

The scene is Scene has improved recently. Some negotiation possible midweek.

Spent about $58/day on the hobby side. Best part was how easy everything was.

Overall: 9/10. Solid destination.

Happy to answer questions.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

Quick question — how was the hotel security?

How does it compare to Germany?

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since the pandemic. Current prices are about the same than what's described here.

I was there in March and prices were great value.

Spent about $115/day all-in. Quality was above average.

My tip: midweek is golden hour.

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.
