I visited Romania recently for 10 days and had a solid experience.
The scene is Better than expected. Pricing was fair.
Spent about $148/day on the hobby side. Best part was the friendliness.
Overall: 9/10. Solid destination.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since the new laws came in. Current prices are higher than what's described here.
